The true key to emotional healing

The Old Way of Healing

When I was deeply immersed in learning about human psychology, especially trauma, I've noticed that the majority of people seeking help are under the impression that healing means conscious processing. Thinking about it, talking about it, crying about it. Every emotion, every trigger, every wound—it all had to be unpacked, understood, and worked through. Not saying that it's psychology's fault, I just think that psychology is more of a science than a healing practice.

It made sense at the time, though. If something was unprocessed, it would keep surfacing until it was resolved. So, naturally, we turned inward, searching for the root and working through the layers. We all know how that old trauma can cause physical ailments, pain, or depression. Or at least show up as a recurring pattern in our life and relationships.

But then I started tapping into real people’s consciousness. And what I saw changed everything.

A Different Truth

More often than not, we don’t actually need to process everything with our brains. If we had the energy and our nervous system had the capacity to do so, we would already do that. But we didn’t—because we couldn’t. We didn't have the resources for it.

That was the missing piece. Processing isn’t always about effort. It’s about energy. Resources. When we raise our energy, vitality, and capacity, our system processes things on its own—in the background—without any conscious action required.

How Energy Moves Through Us

Think of it like physical health. When you’re low on energy, stressed, or depleted, the tiniest bug can take you out. Your body has to go through symptoms—fever, fatigue, inflammation—because it doesn’t have the reserves to clear it quickly. But when you’re thriving, full of life and joy, those same bugs pass right through you. Your body's too strong to be bothered by it.

Emotions work the same way. When our energy is low, emotions feel heavy. They linger. They demand our attention. But when we’re operating from a place of purpose and alignment, those same emotions move through us without resistance. No over-processing. No ruminating. Just life happening, in and out, as it’s meant to.

What I’ve Learned from Energy Work

This deep understanding is a result of experience. Hundreds of sessions in which I connect to people's higher selves, their body's intelligence, and their consciousness. Like any other system in the body, the psyché is always in search of the path of least resistance.

And with energy work, I can give you this capacity.

Much love,

Val
